Assistance with 'new burdens' associated with Smoke Control Areas (SCAs) as part of the Defra grant funding scheme

Defra provides funding to help local authorities manage the additional responsibilities created by new national policies. This includes work related to SCAs such as reviewing, updating, expanding, or revoking existing areas. EMAQ+ can assist through its dedicated training modules. In addition, we are actively supporting local authorities in reviewing their current SCAs to ensure they meet all current requirements.
